Bar's Leaks - Head Seal - Blown Head Gasket Repair

This stuff is an impressive bandaid thus far. I was completely skeptical. I had a leak that drained from the driver's head to the outside of the engine that literally drained antifreeze nearly as fast as I filled it.

I put this Bars Leak in, started the truck, filled the reservoir, this stuff literally had the Leak down to a drip in 5 minutes. Then another five minutes and no drip at all. I followed the hot/cold cycle instructions, but ran 4 cycles rather than two.

The material is forced into any holes with the engine running. As it heats up it fills the hole, then it needs to completely cool. This is when the reaction occurs hardening the agent. The cycles create layers. There's no need to flush the system either.

I would consider this product an excellent preventative maintenance product for high mileage vehicles too.

Like I said, I didn't have high hopes but reviews like this one I'm making helped me out a ton. I decided to try it and am happy I did.

I'll post follow up videos too. This was used on a Dodge 5.9l Magnum with 301,000 miles on it. I'm very happy with the bandaid so far!
