It does work depending on how bad the gasket is blowed out but you have to be very precise with the instructions it's even safe to leave in

Yes yes yes it does work in most cases. We just used it on my son's 01 f150 it had a small head gasket leak in #5 cylinder we prepped by flushing real good first like I know to do and then follow the directions it has worked good no more light smoking immediately compression back up and not overheating and runs smooth no more engine light all is good . Be in mind this still may be a bandaid but I have seen all the testimonials and I am a mechanic and I know what you really should do is replace the gasket but when you don't have the money to do it rite this is an excellent choice til you do have the money to do it rite. Good shit

I asking the same after putting it in radiator. I'm browsing on reddit and a lot of good reviews for K seal. Takes a couple times of running the car a couple minutes on and off before white smoke stops

i have had the best results using a block sealer that requires you to drain and flush the cooling system, then dilute the sealer in water and add to the drained cooling system, top it off with water and idle the engine after it reaches operating temperature for half an hour, drain and flush the cooling system, fill the cooling system with coolant and drive it. sometimes it starts leaking again, and a second one usually does the trick

K seal is the one for blown head gasket

I dont trust them. It will never do as good of a job as the original seal. It's better to just fix it the right way the first time

It does work but only as long as you follow the instructions. That being said it is just a bandaid for the engine the only fix is a new gasket.

I had a leak on my 88 F150 5.0L. Leak was bad, actually exhaust going into the coolant. It did not fix it, but did plug it up enough to get me home.

So as Adam said, probably depends on how bad it is, possibly what type of gasket and how pitted/worn the head/block it.
