This was my personal experience about using this product, for me it was effective, I have almost a couple of years of problems with my car overheating issue, after using this, my car never deals again bout overheating, even when I have stuck in heavy traffic or even on a long ride, I'm very happy and satisfied I've tried this product before deciding to change my entire engine, well actually this is my last resort if its fail I have probably spent more money to change my engine, but it's not, in fact, I've saved more:)

So far its working on my 2012 Chevy Sonic. Blew the head gaskets due to a radiator hose busting. Had coolant in the oil. White smoke coming out of the muffler. Had a loss of compression. Would have to crank the car for like 5 minutes to get it to turn on. Sometimes it wouldn't even turn on. Which was my biggest concern because most of the videos the vehicles turned on right away. I did change the oil before I put the sealant. But it's going to need a flush at a lube Express. Car still struggles a little bit to turn on. But only like 30 seconds under a minute for sure. I'm hoping some new spark plugs could fix that. It definitely has compression now. No more smoke

it actually worked. my Honda Civic FD was experiencing slight coolant leaking somewhere i couldnt find. Everytime i go for a drive for 40km and up, i end up with lesser coolant everytime. I checked my engine oil cap and the oil is normal, the coolant does not even contain oil contamination, its still clean. Its been like that for months. I decided to try this because the only sign i have a problem with my head gasket are bubbles. I can see slight bubbling in my reservoir when the engine gets heat up after a long drive. I also see rhythmic bubbling when i open the rad cap to observe. I followed every single bit of instruction this video had and it worked. From 95-98 degrees celcius of temperature when i drive to 83-90 degrees celcius only. The coolant level is not dropping anymore as well. it maintains the max mark for 4 days now after doing this procedure. I hope this works well for a long time, haha. Thank you for the video!

It worked on my Honda Civic 1.6 ltr. Once the engine overheated due to a faulty thermoswitch which caused the cooling fan not to turn on, the head gasket probably cracked, and some water made its way into the oil. I poured 8 ounces of Barr's into radiator, ran. engine at high speed with the heater at full blast for 15 minutes. No more white smoke coming out the exhaust pipe and changed oil and spark plugs. After 4 weeks of regular driving, i cleaned the oxygen sensor with a wire brush and installed it back. No more check engine light, and compression reading was 155 lb per cylinder. #1 was reading 120 back then. No more coolant consumption. Barr"s is the magical treatment. Saved me time and money. Barr's gave me plenty of time to save money and replace the cracked head gasket with a new one. The engine is on its way to 600K miles as of May 2024. Barr's was recommended to me by a highly experienced engine technician . I therefore highly recommend this magnificent product!

had to use it twice since the first time it lasted 6-9 months on a 1984 244 Volvo, on second application I replaced the radiator with a new one after I flushed the block. it's been over a year now...saved my ass!

Hi, so i can do this without a thermostat? My concern is that without the thermostat the product will flow into the engine while its cold, is there a risk that the product mixes with the engine oil and gets inside? That would be a disaster?.
Because with thermostat the product will only reach the engine when it is hot and would seal inmediatly ? Please help

On the last instruction, should it be flushed entirely like there's no more brownish water from the radiator or just flushed it once?

PLEASE HELP!!
I'm from India, Here this costs 7000 Indian money where as an OEM head gasket costs 5500.
For replacing the head gasket I got the following quotation:
For the *Mechanic* to disassemble and refit the engine: 5000
for the Machine shop to resurface the block and head: 5000 (if it goes that far)
OEM VAG head gasket : 5500

So basically head gasket 15500 and 7000 for this Bar's leak. Just twice as much and not a huge difference like in the US.

My coolant and oil are mixed very badly, the Car overheated a lot to the point where it shut off after 15 minutes yet very little white smoke though. After I noticed this problem I haven't used the car again! So This problem just occurred within 2km away from the current odo reading.

Asked some Skoda superb and other VW owners and they say it could be an issue with oil cooler. But I personally fear it could be the gasket. So will the car emit white smoke if the oil cooler has gone too? Or is it just a minor leak in the head gasket that there was only very less white smoke? please clear my doubts as I brought this car against my parent's will and the whole family hates me now.

UPDATE: Last Nov 27, 2021, my overheat indicator shows up again, probably the seals burst once more, so I intend to do the procedure to reseals it using the remaining half bottle, I made the procedure the same as it was, but on the last part, after leaving the system drained for 24 hrs, I flushed it again with running water and filled it with distilled water, sadly after driving a couple of KMS the old overheating problem persists again up to now, therefore the remaining half didn't work.

4, 421kms total mileage from May 31, 2021 (ODO: 100609) - Nov 27, 2021 (ODO: 105030)

I'm planning to use other products again probably k-seal pour and go and I will also make a video and share the experience of using this I'm hoping for a positive outcome.

Stay tuned!
