In this video I test and review Bars Leaks Block Seal Permanent Head Gasket Fix.  Our car was diagnosed with a blown head gasket and the repair estimate was around $2000 to get started with the potential for it even to cost more due to a cracked head or block. Our car was overheating and leaking antifreeze. I wanted to find an alternative solution to keep our old car running without spending a lot of money.  Does Bars Leaks Head Gasket Fix work? Watch this video to find out! Always make sure when you are working with vehicles to wear the proper safety equipment and take all safety precautions. Thanks for watching!

This stuff absolutely works …I had a blown head gasket on a Mitsubishi and pour this stuff in only once…..I kept driving this car for over a year but it was 13 years old I had already purchased a new car so I just sold it but it was rolling and no running hot issue’s so. It’s definitely worth it if you need to buy yourself some time

I was a mechanic in the 70s 80s 90s believe me you this miracle in a bottle works the best on radiators an headgaskets we went through this like water back in the day

I used the head gasket repair on a 2001 Mercury Villager and it's still working I put it in the beginning of February and taking a few trips out of town so far so good

I absolutely believe this stuff has it’s place. I’m always disappointed when I hear mechanics criticising its use, then insisting that you are a shameful disgrace to your whole ancestral line, unless you instantly commit to a $3000 head rebuild.

Just put it in and it may be slowing the overheating down but not stopping it. Going to hold out hope that the seals will be plugged after driving it around a bit. The back of the bottle did say it could take a few days of usage before working.

I am getting ready to use this stuff now. The instructions left me wondering. Man. The luck. I am using this on a 2000 concorde. 3.2. So my hopes are very high after seeing our nearly identical car getting this treatment. I need this to work. Its my work car. Cant be gumming up the family car and racking up the hard miles on it. I am at 270000 on my 3.2. Dear father in the garage!!! Let this work.

👍
just put it in my 98 suburban 5.7L

I had
1. suddenly big time overheating with a milkshake pouring out of the radiator.
2. CLEAN oil on the dipstick

then I

1. bought a can of Bars leaks head gasket fix
2. waited for the engine to cool
3. overfilled the radiator with water to flush out the oil
4. siphoned out excess water
5. shook bottle and poured it in
6. turned heater on full
7. started it up
8. sat and panicked as I watches the temperature gradually move to 250
9. lost hope
10. watched the temp sink back to 200
11. yay!

I'm looking at buying a vehicle that has a similar issue so I'm gonna try this. I just did it on a 2013 Dodge avenger and it seemed to work pretty good

OK so everybody that has commented, that it worked for them …
nobody actually follow directions and it still worked there are directions 3:36 with steps that are supposed to be done in a specific order. Draining flushing, adding it to warm water, then pouring it in topping it off with the water running it for 20 minutes setting it off let it go running again for 45 minutes then turning it off let it get cool and draining all the stuff out and then putting fresh coolant in it I’m just going by memory on this instruction just definitely a lot more to it according to their instructions and just pouring it in the radiator I’m just going by memory on this directions
