Positive and Negative Profiles Cope and Stick - Sketchup for Woodworkers Tutorial 9

Here is part 2 of the cope and stick series that shows you how to create a negative profile to accept into the positive profile we created in part 1. This can be tricky but with this tutorial, I make easy to understand and duplicate. This will allow you to make an accurate cut list and presentation to your clients to close the deal.

Nice video. I learned a few things. One thing you may or might not know is if you want to delete two lines that intersect, if you use the eraser tool exactly at the intersection, you can remove both with one click.

Hi, just want to suggest a feature that's very useful, however it may not be available on the free version of SketchUp. It is the solid tools, and with groups/components, you can easily subtract/divide the two components, regardless of the components' shapes, the program will do everything for you.

exploding in the earlier version is unnecessary. Using the OUTLINER you can make it unique and rename it accurately.
