Like, how difficult can it be? If it's constructive try to learn from it, if it's just blatantly hating the book, ignore it.

I've seen reviews where people automatically give a lower rating because they don't like "that kind of then why'd you read it? And why did you say that it was well written, but you're giving it a rating based your dislike of the genre or category? This is why poor ratings should be taken with a grain of salt. This goes for any product or service available for review. People rate based on a personal preference or bias and not on the quality of the product.

But I got negative feedback from one of my ARC reviewers...

It seems his favorites and mine are opposites. He likes a lot of description and I don't like a beginning that drags on too long.

You don't.
Book reviews are for readers, not authors. If you can't handle negative feedback, you're not ready to be a writer, and you're definitely not ready to be published.
