For the last 18 years, Christopher and Eva Dry have lived and worked on their biodynamic farm. It hasn't always been easy, but their love for their land, biodynamic farming, and this special way of living keeps them here.

As Christopher says - "The light makes no sense without the dark. It needs the dark to have strength."

Who is Green Renaissance? We are a tiny collective of 2 passionate filmmakers (Michael and Justine). We live off-grid and dedicate our time to making films that we hope will inspire and share ideas.

I am going through a difficult time in my life at the moment. My business studies are not going too well and i am scared to drop out. I really want to have a job or excel at doing something just to feel that my existence is worth something and my dreams are valid. I have become very interested in regenerative farming too and i somehow also dream of one day farming my own food. I want to reconnect with the earth. Your videos give me strength in my darkness. What an incredibly beautiful couple. Their beautiful life has so much meaning. My life is very similar. So many of my friends that I grew up with that I rarely am in touch with today feel that only materialism and big huge houses and big huge cars and fancy furniture and belongings gives them the meaning they need to survive. My old house was built in 1890 buy rough sawn lumber from the same property here in East Tennessee. It was a poor man's house then and it's still a poor man's house. I bought the old place 21 years ago. I also feel that the old house dearly loves me and I know the house knows that I love it also. The land is so incredible for me and my Gardens and to feel the soil and to walk in the forest on my property. I love nature and all the animals that are here. Again, thank you so much guys for the beautiful work you do. I wish that I was in a place to hug both of you and everyone and every one of your videos. It has meant so much to me during this time of having to remain at home during this pandemic. I only have one lung that has been since cancer in 2007. But I do well. Thank you.

From what i see is that these people, like many in Green Renaissance, live in a very beautiful environment and simple life ís possible! Having said that, still is beautiful!

The lifestyles in these videos cause me to become aware of a deep inner longing (too long neglected) to live a simpler way of life. My Dad loved the soil and working with it. My Granddad could graft trees. I think the soil is calling my hands/heart to touch it, to listen, to learn. AND, when I worked in Hollywood and learned of the Cannes film festival, I thought, wow, how wonderful. Certainly there must be a film festival for these treasures you create. THE WORLD REALLY NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED TO THIS AS A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE WAY OF LIVING . (lastly, especially in such a time as this.)
