I got a free upgrade to first class because: (1) My first flight was cancelled, and I had to get another one THE NEXT MORNING. (2) The first connecting flight was late. All of this made me late to the event I was going to and I missed the main thing I attended for. THEN! My first return flight was canceled and delayed by about eight hours, I just sat around in the airport for THAT LONG. The last return flight was upgraded to first class. It was nice but not worth how much stress and trouble I went through. THANKS UNITED I'm never flying with you again!
