Also pay attention to which airlines don't appear on those lists and then go to their websites directly with incognito mode to find their prices too

It works but it directs you to cheap airlines that charge extra for everything so you end up paying the same amount it would cost on an average priced flight. You’re basically paying to fly from point A to B with no carry-on. It’s still a good price if you’re only flying to NYC to catch a broadway show and then back home after or flying back to college.

If you know your destination you can pull up the calendar on Google flights and it will let you which days are cheaper to travel.

Only way I travel let the price tell me where I’m going travel every month for basically the same price as going out in my hometown

Great tips, too bad there's no hack for business travellers who need specific dates. Also I found that airlines advertise cheap fares then it goes up with their fees or the cheap flights are the worst ones, from long layovers too early flights that are so early it's unsafe. How did airlines get away with charging us for what should be included anyway? Charging for seats, and carry-ons?!?

I did a test on this. I did it though google flights then priceline. It was exactly $1.00 difference.
