My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 sarcoma in August, last year. In January, this year she passed away. She fought like a queen; ascites, pericardial effusion, pleural effusion, pneumonia, corona, diabetes, hypertension, edema, metastasis to lungs, liver, pancreas, bone, kidney, heart! 😭 I'm still 22. 😔

My salute to this woman and everyone who is fighting this deadly disease! ❤️😍 You're all kings and queens ✌️.

This is amazing 🤩 Stephanie. I am completely addicted to your work! I had cancer myself - I had breast cancer Stage 3B inflammatory. I lost my breast and had chemo and radiation . A few years after treatment I suddenly fainted and broke my neck and now I am a quadriplegic. I will never walk again - that was 11-yrs ago … but I love your work. You are wonderful as are all the people you interview.

Shyreece, before I become immersed in your story, I just wanted to pause and thank you for being such a dedicated teacher. Thank you for the children's lives you have touched and impacted and shaped on their way to adulthood. How do we find more devoted teachers like you? xo

Contrary to common belief, cancer is a metabolic disease caused by persistent and prolonged inflammation. Despite treatments like radiotherapy and chemotherapy it resurfaces after certain time in other parts of the body and it is more aggressive and deadly. The underlying condition which is inflammation is never addressed. Inflammation starts with food we eat. It’s not only most of the foods are inflammatory but also they do not provide sufficient nutrition. Human body requires animal protein and animal fat for proper functioning. Everything else causes inflammation. If you have pain of any kind, difficulty sleeping, lack of energy. These are first signs of inflammation. It is usually followed by anemia. It is very common that at this point people discover they have some form of cancer. Prevent inflammation to stay healthy.

maybe PASSIVE smoking, i.e. being around people who smoke for many years. I read it s more dangerous than actual smoking as the "side stream" of the canceogenous substances are inhaled more is why i m stilll afraid of lung cancer although i never smoked myself....but i had to work with chain-smoking 4 colleagues for 10 years in the 80s in a very small office room....

I don't know how you have done this for so long- and still so positive! I just started my 2nd year. By the time I was done with 6 weeks of chemo and 30 radiation treatments, my lungs are now trashed. I had pulmonary fibrosis before cancer. And the radiation has made that so much worse. They tell me there is nothing more to offer me, because of the shape of my lungs but I'm also not yet a candidate for Hospice yet either, because my cancer has not spread. Then a week agoI had a ct scan and 2 more spots showed up in roughly the same area. We will get PET scan on June 5 and results on June 6. I no longer have a desire to continue this struggle. Life has become soooo HARD. I am living on O2 and despite in home PT and OT I can barely get to the toilet alone. I am ready to go NOW. But I'm not allowed to do that either. 😢
