With a referral target to see patients in two weeks and with some complex cases already breaching this goal, Smruta and her team are under pressure to find diagnostic and theatre space in the hospital. But with more than 70 theatre staff still shielding because of new Covid rules and only 22 out of 32 theatres able to be utilised, it has become an uphill battle.

This is the loveliest doctor I've ever seen, she's what every doctor should aspire to be. Made me cry 😢

My mum had this years and years ago- late stage too- and she lived 20 YEARS after an evasive surgery. Died later of triple neg breast cancer- but survived that five years. Her Dr, like this one here, was a Saint. So caring and loving, much love and hope for Natasha in the video. And thanks for all those Drs all these years, what a tough, tough, job.

What a reality check. You only think you have problems until you watch and listen to this. An amazing women, such strength. The doctor was a God send, when she took a few minutes to be by herself, I couldn't stop the tears. I am praying for a full recovery. Thank you for allowing me and others to be part of your journey ❤🙏

Now that’s what you call a oncologist/dr super human! what ever you want to call her. After all the battles she’s lost against cancer taking patient after patient and she still has that much compassion! Is beautiful. Not that the others didn’t - because they’re always has to be that person to offer the other side and say look her chances aren’t great we could give the chance to someone else for a possible better outcome. I would hate the weight of that on my shoulders! True hero’s! Wish no one had to suffer like this poor lady but if they have to then they should all have a dr like her backing them!
