I like how his last thought was "enough", his not lying to himself that he was always a good man, or that his life was perfect, it was enough for him and that's all he cared about

I honestly believe that in the end, Logan found some form of peace. Yes, he "died", but in the end, he stopped Cornelius, and as Dan said, he reflects on his life, a life of hardships and loss but also friendship and love, so i do believe in the end, it was some form of peace with the sun helping give some of that peace. That's just how I see it.

Out of all of the "deaths" in comics, this is my favourite. The idea of one of the most desensitised, pained and torted hero's just accepting his life as having been "enough" is perfect.

Btw, multiverse variants as a live action version of Comic Book Death is actually good in my opinion. Like what they did with Gamora; she’s not the same character. You don’t just shrug and says “she’s back”. There’s consequences.

Honestly my favorite to come of this was how all the hero’s reacted to it and tried to honor him in some way. Especially iron man and Deadpool. Of course the fact that most X-men went out and started fights is also sweet.

To me a death in a superhero comic is that character sick day out of work until they come back to life

Lovely send off at the end of the comic, looking at a sunrise one last time.

But his return, just appearing in the background of other comics before it was fully revealed.
