Wolverine - Why His Claws Hurt Him

Показать описание
Wolverine releasing his claws hurts him every time as indicated in the first X-Men film.

This is because the area where his claws are released close up after every use. In the comics, wolverine once said he releases his clause several times a day to keep them open like pierced to ears. There is no indication movie wolverine does this north any indication that it would work.

It doesn’t only damage skin. It actually causes tissue damage, but the wound heals almost immediately after the claws come out, but he still feels the pain at the same level anyone else would it just goes away immediately.

It also hurts to retract it since it’s not returning to a nice sleek runway but into a tunnel of largely healed muscle and tissue.

In the Wolverine, we see a yellow costume that contains gloves with metal sliders. In some stories, these metal sliders help guide wolverines claws more efficiently to limit friction and minimize tissue damage. This is the case for both releasing and retracting.

This is why he always looks like the kid picked last in gym class. Follow the page for more videos like this.

Wolverine - It always hurts.
Hulk - I'm always angry.

Considering how he throws himself into the frey and acts like a bullet sponge the pain the claws cause is unnoticeable at this point

My boy Logan was always in pain. Physical and emotional. One of the best x-men

Something Wolverine and Deadpool have in common is they feel all pain just like normal people would, but after years of constantly experiencing the worst pain imaginable they start to get used to it which is why they don’t slow down when fighting

I love how detailed comics are, I’m constantly surprised by little bits of information like this.

Casting Jackman as Wolverine was just a genius decision. He’s just perfect in the role.

One of the upsides to the adamantium claws over the bone claws is that due to their new knife shape, the claws cut through Logan’s skin easier rather than the cone shaped bone claws pushing the skin aside when deployed

It hurts just like it would hurt us but what many people don't understand is that after you get hurt this much this many times you'll get used to it and not think about it unless someone brings it up

The pain of the claws is only nominal to the pain of knowing Disney is gonna milk him till he's 90

I never thought about this but now it makes sense, when the claws are out body heals and fill the space that was left behind and when he retracts them they literally puncture him in the inside.

Wolverine’s healing mitigates the damage but not the pain. He’s just used to it at this point.

There is one comic where he’s fighting the hulk and gets punched full force. Wolverine is one of the few characters that can fully describe how painful getting punched by an enraged hulk is and live.

If i recall, it's also been stated he has to keep his hands steady when he releases his claws, because if he doesn't, they end up coming out through his palms instead. I'm fairly certain this has canonically happened to him at least once in the comics

That’s one of the things that makes Wolverine what he is. Literally, PAIN. He fights savagely, very inelegantly, not really focusing on dodging hits because he can AFFORD to fight like that. If you had a wolverine who fought different, say, avoiding every single hit, you’d lose a precious trait that really makes the character who he is.

I am a hemodialysis nurse. Our patients get inserted with a needle 2 to 3x a week in their enlarged vein(AV Fistulas). They somehow develop an invreased tolerance to the pain over time. When we give subcutaneous tissue injections for their EPO, they easily tolerate the pain.
