I tried Retin-A in my 20s in the late 80s. Too strong and everything was peeling. I was convinced I was allergic to it and didn’t touch it again. In my 50s now and even though I have good genes and my skin looks good I do want to retry with all the new information available.

I started on .005 on tret. Now I'm on .015 and I have to put a serum down first.
Retinol is strong. Yes the purge is real. Consistency is key!
This woman knows her stuff!

Thank you so much. I’ve been wanting to start using this, but I’ve been so afraid of what it will do to my skin. I bought some from Walgreens and it’s a good brand but it doesn’t disclose how much retinal is in it. I’m starting it tonight. I also got me some sunscreen. I’m gonna start with a little bit and see how it reacts to my skin.

Here in Canada you can get 0.01% tretinoin, which is what I’ve been using for years. It's great
