I finally have a skincare schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday are my tretinoin nights
Saturday is my AHA night
Sunday and Wednesday: no actives

Every morning prescription Azelaic Acid.
I’m feeling really good about it.

Can you do a video on anti-aging for hands? I’m 30 and work as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital and am constantly washing my hands. So I worry about premature aging especially because wrinkly hands run in my family. Thanks! - your fellow skin nerd 🤓

Following for years, hands down the best and most honest Derm on social media. Started using retinoids with her years ago, gentle at first and now I'm worked my way up to Tretinoin 0.025% daily. Changed my skin forever.

I smiled when the sunscreen part came up. I’m a girl living in a Nordic country where winter lasts from October to March and often stretches into April. If I can apply SPF 50 during November, December, and January—when the sun rises at 8 a.m. and sets at 4 p.m. (and I barely see it since I’m sitting in the office on workdays)—then anyone can! I really have to thank you and your educational videos for helping me build this habit. The only issue is that pharmacies don’t sell much SPF during winter because they assume people don’t need it.

I am age 60 and my dermatologist says I don't "need" tretinoin because I am doing great with "topicals", so, he did not provide me with a RX. So, I began to use the otc ROC capsules. I can use them every night without irritation. I use Timeless 20% vitamin C every morning and evening and various sunscreens everyday. Occasionally I add the Ordinary Azelaic Acid suspension at 10% and Salysilic Acid from 2-4% up to Occasionally 20%. My skin loves salysilic and azelaic acids! That's about it short of various moisturizers on my neck & chest and sometimes up onto my cheeks. (I'm prone to milia with thick moisturizers on my upper cheeks and around eyes). I adore your channel and rely on the trusted information you share!!❤

At 87, my mom has used prescription retinoids for about 40 years. Her skin has the softness & fine texture of a baby (plus age wrinkles). She tried to get me to start then, too. Alas, it irritated my skin & I wish I knew then what I know now about easing into retinoid use
Lucky all you watchers of Dr Idriss videos!

Thank you! I learned to start low from YOU! I started with The Ordinary 0.2% retinol in squalene. They have 0.2, 0.5, and 1%. Then the retinal 0.2% is next. I’m tolerating the 0.2% retinol very well, will move to 0.5% and reduce frequency for a while next! I’m just 41 myself, and have found HUGE value in your content. Especially the tip about the gycolic acid and zinc cream for lips!! For someone living in Northern Canada, this is incredibly useful!

Using Retinol (Tretinoin 0.025%) daily for 10 days now, it's early to give any verdict. But I experienced very mild purge which isn't noticable at all. Other than that it lessened my breakouts and has made my skin smooth. So far so good.

Update 1: It's been one month and I am still using tret. A few acne here and there but other than that my skin has gotten better than before.

I love Glucose Goddess! She's truly helping the world wake up to the real problems within our eating habits. The changing the order of my food and ACV has made a crazy difference to my PCOS and insulin resistance. Also these retinol tips were super helpful and I'll be looking out for your products here in the UK once taxes have come down for sure!

I recently came across the Glucose Goddess videos with my husband, and I find her hacks to be quite informative. I really enjoy her videos just as much as I enjoy your videos, DOC ❤❤❤❤❤

At the beginning of my journey with retinol, used it on my naked neck once, and only once! Wow, the reaction was unbearable! My whole neck area was red, irritated and burning! I had to take a day off work! Not recommend without buffering 😖
So glad you’re now shipping to the UK! 🙌🙌
