There is nothing better than the holiday season and today I am cooking this 3 bone beautiful Standing Prime Rib Roast as a holiday treat for all of us. Prime Rib is something very easy that anyone can do. All you need to know is the basics of sous vide and anyone will be able to cook this perfect holiday treat for their family.

HOW TO COOK PRIME RIB SOUS VIDE
I cooked it for 6hrs @ (137°F / 58°C)

* INGREDIENTS * I used for this sous vide cook.
1 3 Bone Standing Prime Rib

* Garlic Basting Sauce *
1 Stick of salted butter (8 tbsp)
2 tbsp Crushed Garlic
1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
* Pro tip, mix the sugar and garlic together then mix until you get a fine paste.

The color difference between the crust and the inside is incredible. Much better than the typical grey edges of a traditional prime rib

I just got an anova and first cook I did was a rump roast. Salt, pepper, garlic powder at 140 for 20 hrs and it was AMAZING!!!Thanks for everything yall do. My family loves it.

I made my first sous vide prime rib roast today and I don't think I'm ever going back to the traditional roasting method. I've baked plenty of prime rib roast but sous vide is on another level in terms of tenderness and flavor. I made the butter rub but I used waygu beef tallow to "cement"my seasonings on the roast. This may have been the best prime rib I've cooked.
