Love how you explain the internet as a younger person... I feel like Elrond in LOTR, I was there when you have to dial up through the phone, I was there when google was "new" lol. Great video. Still for me, being a little bit older have a fondness for 95 and 98... they were OS that forced you to learn in order to solve some problems lol

windows vista/7 gives me mad nostalgia, mostly because i was a toddler when vista came out, so i liked to play the games on them like chess and stuff. love your videos man, keep it up 👌

There are ways you can improve the boot time on Windows 10. Mostly involves disabling unnecessary functions, disabling unwanted startup programs, using special programs to disable telemetry processes and such, etc.

fun fact: each feature update of windows 10 counts as its own windows release. they just changed the version naming scheme, release schedule and settled down to one UI language, but that's about it. 2015 Windows 10 is a completely different OS than today's Windows 10.

Some things in the Windows 11 Control Panel have been around since Windows 95. There are even a few old accessories still in Windows 11 from Windows 95

2000 was not the first to use NT. From 92 to 2002 there were 2 versions of windows: the consumer version(95, 98, ME, 3.1) were built on DOS and the business version (NT 3.1 to now) used the NT kernel

Cool vid, but from Windows 98 downwards you should had used PCem or 86Box (dunno if they have an ARM version) and From Windows 3.x downwards you should had used DosBox... That way you´ll have drivers and it would run way, way better! Those VM solutions are really crap for older systems! Also with Windows 2.0 and 1.0, you´ll probably run it from a 5 1/4 floppy which where from 780 kb to 360 kb, depending which disk drive you rocked.

@makhritech you were incorrect about Windows NT. First you had Windows 1.0-3.1. Then you had Windows For Workgroups 3.1, which was Windows 3.1 but with LAN network support and a few business extras. Then Windows split into two product lines. Windows NT 3, for businesses, and Windows 95 for home users. Then you got NT 4 and 98. And then 2000 (business) and ME (home). NT and 2000 came in two editions, workstation and server. When XP launched, this was changed. XP was based on NT, and came in a home edition and a pro edition. And Windows Server 2003 was the server version of XP. This continues all the way to Windows 11 Home, Windows 11 Pro, And Windows Server 2022.

Just note you can still turn on start up sounds in windows 8/8.1 and 10 it’s just disabled by default. It uses the windows 7 startup but you can change it to any sound

If you enable startup sound in windows 10 in sound settings in control panel it plays the windows vista/7 startup sound so thats nice 👍

Close to the thing that I wanted before. But it is a good video My favourite Windows OS is Windows 10. It has blootware, weird stuff. But it has got it's style and it is more stable than any other OS that exist. No questions please. I like it. Thanks for the video.

Windows 10 is a blessing

Windows 10 has became so customizable you can literally turn it into Windows 8.1, 7 or even XP and, 2000. You just need some themeing programs, Windhawk mods, 3rd Party customization tools, Winaero Tweaker and you're done

0:40 There is a reason why they moved it to the middle to make it more easily accessible without having to move the cursor to the bottom left corner of the screen.

You can move the start menu to the left.

Windows 8 and 10 do actually have boot sounds you just have to enable them in the sound settings i think and they're also the same as Windows 7/Vista
