I stopped collecting Bionicles when the Mata Nui saga ended. Mostly due to financial issues. Given the times, I should have sold my collection. So happy I didn't. Instead, I sold all my Transformers Beast Wars figures.

Now with the reboot, I just started collecting the 2015 sets. At first was reluctant due to the huge aesthetic change. After I picked up Kopaka and Protector of Ice, I've decided to pick em all up. In hand, they look and feel good. Just wish they'd keep the dark and mature atmosphere but oh well. I just need more Bionicles.

Bionicle went from a creative and really cool toy line to a sellout marking that barely any work was put into like half of the toys that you find in toys r us. I feel like late 2008-2009 was the turning point.

I really regret stopping to buy them after the Inika era. My fav years were probably 2004 & 2005. I'm so happy LEGO brought BIONICLE back.

my very first was toa tahu nuva when i was nine and have been collecting ever since. just need about ten more sets and ill have them all

Favorites? Start of Metru-Nui, till the end of Mahri-Nui. How many do I own? Almost all of them! For 2015 I have all of them but lord of skull spiders. I'm proud of my collection! 😬😁

Ive been collecting Bionicles since 2001 all the way to the in 2010 ive own all of them. My favorite year for bionicle was 2006-2007 and im disappointed in the 2015 relaunch.
