today i decided to bring all my lego cases back in my little brother's room, he's 8 and never heard of bionicle before, we decided to rebuild all of them (boy there was at least 25 I'm now thinking about my poor parents' purse) and now he seems obsessed with it, he told me "that's not fair your toys were so much better than mine" and it made me realise... I was lucky growing up with that, it was indeed a great time, i really love how the striked the balance between creativity, lore, interactivity and beauty.

The first generation Bionicles (Tahu, Gali Etc) and 2006 (Jallar...) were in my opinion the best ones

2009 was my personal golden age, thats where I got most of my sets from and I recognize most of the the ones released during that time.

I have wished for more than 8 years, that I was born before the first bionicles came, so i could've got them... But this is totally the best series lego has made... So Iconic...

2007-2009 ones were BY FAR the most creative Bionicles in my opinion. So many cool play features + really unique looks. Love them.

i recognised owning loads from 2001-2010 (way less though past 2007) - the yellow guy at 4:40 was my fave as a kid

I grew up with the 2016 wave, and i know it wasnt as good as the classics, but i still loved it to death.

1:40, this was my first piece. I absolutely loved these because you could fold them into a ball and roll them around. The first sets were simply amazing. Simple, yet well designed. Original and looking incredible. I remember begging my mom in the store when I saw these and I always got them when I had birthdays and christmas. Those were great times. Now Im 25 years old and I still own several pieces, carries a lot of fond memories everytime i look at them

God I still remember getting my first bionicle set around 10 years ago at LEGOLAND. I miss the old sets truth be told.

This is my childhood right here! I liked pretty much everything up to 2008. I still had some bionicles from the following year but wasn’t really feeling them 🧐

At least I STILL have my 2015-2016
Bionicle toys. Yes, I do STILL play with them but when i watch these kind of videos, I have like, a breakdown of sadness and the memories start flooding into my mind.
