Bridgerton reaction requests:
S2: The scene when Antony and Kate argue after the botched dinner party
S2: Violet talking to Antony on the bench about how they both handled the loss of Antony's father and/or the flashback of Violet in the sitting room still in the throes of grief

Requests for Bridgerton season 2 scenes:
- The ending scene of 2x03 when Anthony has a panic attack
- Post-dance argument scene in 2x04 between Kate and Anthony in his office
- The Mary and Kate scene in episode 2x08
- The Violet and Anthony scene on the bench at Edmunds grave when they talk about the time after his death and how the way her handling his death shaped a lot of who Anthony has become (there's a follow-up scene on that in episode 2x08 too actually)

Episodes 3, 4 and 8 generally have a lot of Kate and Anthony scenes that would be interesting to you

I really hope you react to scenes from season 2 because there's a lot to unpack there. Kate and Anthony are so complex, not just in their relationship, but as individuals as well. They put so much pressure on themselves for the sake of their families and have so much to go through individually before they can actually be together. Also the scenes between Anthony and Violet, how they both dealt with grief after Edmund's death and how it affected their mother-son dynamic.

You have just justified every Bridgerton fan who loves the show. Yes, this is good writing.

Fyi the dance they are doing is called a Viennese Waltz. It is very bouncy for sure, it's also one of the few dances where there is not an insignificant risk of falling if you and your dance partner are out of step.

You know what scene I keep expecting when I see "Therapist Reacts to Bridgerton"? The scene where Simon tells the queen why he wants to marry Daphne. Nobody ever does a reaction video for that scene, but it's what I most want to know others' opinions on. Especially in the context of a therapist's channel! I'm watching for the new perspective on a familiar thing, after all.

Hey this has nothing to do with the video, but I wanted to share something I realized. When it comes to my relationships with people older than me usually I feel a sense of distance or like a barrier. I think it's because of the Indian community that I was raised in. But watching this video, I realized the way you communicate with us (your audience), It makes me feel like more of a peer of yours, with those normal barriers not being there. I wanna thank you for that. It made me realize this mindset that's been baked into my mind about people older than me. Definitely something I should work on.

This reaction was amazing. " Love is a choice. Its not just a feeling...." That is really true. I loved this . Sincerity is important. This reaction was revelatory 💯💯💯💯

This episode has made me feel better about myself. I express love in a very open and raw way. & that scares people away. With that I always thought I wasn’t enough. I am enough and someone will see that eventually.

I would love to see your reaction to the argument in season two between Eloise and Penelope.

One of the things I think Julia Quinn (the author of the books this series is based on) does really well is develop the characters and their feelings as the book goes on. Some of the books begin with a couple that you think is utterly wrong for each other, but they become more human and get to know each other so well before the ending.
Also, there's a quote from "Doctor Who" that is just great: "Love is not an emotion, love is a promise".

1) Bridgerton is only similar to Jane Austen if one has a VERY, VERY surface level understanding of Austen. Basically, if someone saw the 2005 Pride and Prejudice once and then called it a day. There has been exactly one twenty-second clip of Bridgerton where I said, "Yes, that right there is Austen's sense of humor." I love both Bridgerton and Austen, I just think they have nothing in common except the era they're set in.
2) I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE for you to dissect any number of scenes from the second season, particularly the depictions of grief from 2.03 and the Kate/Edwina conflict in 2.06-2.07

“Now, go kiss your hot ass husband.”

Not words I expected, but I won’t deny that they are agreeable. He do be hot though.

Also…I needed to hear those words, and this couldn’t have came at a better time. 🙏🏿❤️

Want to respond to your observation on the delight of the 'bouncy' dancing.

This brings up something (strange?) I counsel young couples having a heated argument about something: join hands and skip around the room for a few minutes. It may not resolve the underlying problems, but it will break a logjam immediately. It is impossible to be angry with someone while you are skipping with them. Then go back to more calmly discussing how to resolve the conflict(s). Try it if you don't believe me :)
