For some people this would be a wonderful reality, for others terrifying. That alone is sad in itself

I love that this channel has only one video. It’s emblematic of eternal recurrence really. When I die and inevitably relive this life, I look forward to stumbling on this channel and watching this video. Let this message mark this moment in time eternally.

I’m in my late 50s now, kids are adults and doing well, still happily married. I would not look at eternal recurrence as a curse at all. I’d do it all again without knowing the ending yet.

Nietzsche got is illumination as I got it. An evidence to me. I figured it out that you should do what you want to do today that will rejoice you to doing it in the next one.
Sadly that quote isn’t easy to practice. Deep down it’s consuming myself, no excitement about the life anymore, just living through pleasure to stimulate my own mind and forgetting the truth.
There are a differences between knowing and experimenting it. Living in a lie and unconscious seemed far away, I kinda regrets these years..

I’ve always sort of believed without evidence that we live our lives over and over again, and I took a lot of comfort in it. I didn’t know this was an actual philosophy until today. I don’t think it’s a scary thought at all. The scariest thought is that when you die it’s really going to be all over. That when someone you love dies, you’ll never ever be with them again. Reliving your life over and over gives me hope that maybe I’d be able to do things differently. As your 4th ever subscriber I’m really looking forward to what this channel is gonna have in the future! Great video :)

If a demon asked me that question I'd tell it I'm happy doing this again in perpetuity at this point in my life. Life is a beautiful thing.

Realistically this could be possible. Way better than the idea of non-existence. I'd rather be sad, depressed, happy, joyful, embarrassed, disgust, anger, hatred, love, and all than nothing and nothing and nothing forever.

This happened to me in real life, the demon or voice as I perceived it was my conscience telling me to accept “eternal recurrence”, I didn’t have a word for it until recently. It’s sadly and logically the truth. Stay safe people.

Before learning about enteral recurrence, I took a edible and I meditated.. to my surprise I seen it.. at first I cried so loud and I couldn’t stop but once I accepted it.. it wasn’t so bad (still really embarrassed I woke up the entire house)😅

If we lived the exact same lives and everything we did was already predetermined, there wouldn’t be much of a point. However, if we knew the mistakes we made and could change them, then I would be on board.

I'm filled with a great dread. So overpowering that I just don't want to live 1 more day. My life has been total shit. So pointless. So meaningless. I've been homeless. As an Infantryman, I've fought the war for the nation. All that I have known, and accomplished isn't worth 1 penny, 1 grain of sand on a beach. That's how irrelevant I am. And to be cursed to live this existence over and over again, it's just too much: The very definition of Hell.

Honestly the only thing I’d feel after a while is just bored and disappointed…. Like all I get is the same shit over and over again….

It’s better than nothing

I believe this theory even before I learned that theory

The Eternal Return, and concept of infinity, is not Nietzsches Idea, and has been around for a very long time, and can be found in almost all cultures at some point in time.

Imagine if you were married to Amber Heard when the demon told you this.

Hello, just wanted to give some feedback. The animations are great, the subject is interesting, your sum up the stuff really good, so the video is practical, but you should articulate a but more and make yoir tone a bit interesting. I love that you speak fast, but it should be a bit more understandable in my opinion. Thanks for the video

But how can we make ourselves love our fate? If we are to love our fate than it is dependent on whether we did that the infinite times before.

I asked my friend this and he said that he would try to find a 3rd option. Is there a 3rd option? Can the coin land on its edge?
