Yes, a rule against playing with 50 bazillion toys at once helps a lot. We implement that rule of having only one set or type of toys out at once. I listened to this video while cleaning my room...is that a tip? Combine youtube hobby with housework time? lol! My husband and I are both neat by nature, I wasn't sure how we'd feel about the "mess" of toys...but we have honestly loved it. When Cyrus was just a baby and I picked up his toys after putting him to bed for nap I was always thankful that I finally had a baby around to leave toys all around the living room. <3

Hey!! Thanks for another great video! Loved your tips and will be implementing the deep clean one room a day idea!! Second week of first year homeschooling and we are loving learning together, but I'm falling behind on laundry! Having to rewash the same load twice because I got too busy and forgot about it sitting in the washer!🤪 Wasting water, wasting time, wasting detergent! Ahhh! Gotta get my booty in gear! Minimize and working TOGETHER on the home💗💗💗! Only getting one toy bin out as a time...we do this as well! It really does make it manageable and the kids actually enjoy their toys and play with then for their intended purposes! Daily laundry is the ONLY way we can keep on top of the "beast"😜. We call it "covering " our tracks when we clean as we go. Messes in the moments and cherish them and BE PRESENT 🥰🥰 We run very similar households... I think we are like the SAME person😘 😉

I use the app Toby, so I know actually what needs cleaning that day and what can wait. Before I would find I got overwhelmed as I kept thinking of everything that needed doing, now I can see when I will be getting to it. We also minimize which is a massive help.
