Periodic trajectories on the regular pentagon - faculty lunch talk 1/31/18

Periodic trajectories on the pentagon billiard table are very beautiful, and have some fascinating structure. In this talk aimed at a general audience, given to the faculty of Swarthmore College over lunch, I show lots of pictures, and talk about some of my favorite aspects of periodic trajectories on the regular pentagon. This is joint work with Samuel Lelièvre and Barak Weiss, as noted in the talk.
