A guy I worked with noticed he looked yellow but thought it was the light his bathroom. Then he noticed it at work, too and called his doctor. The doctor had him come in the same day, said he was jaundiced. Ran tests and he had a spot of liver cancer. They were able to do surgery and he is still alive and active 20 years later.

My mom’s liver failed a few years ago. She was yellow for weeks beforehand. She was expected to die in the ICU. She got a transplant a year later and now she’s doing okay.
