Good luck getting Insurance to replace your Screen or Screen Enclosures. We lost lost ours during Matthew. We had a $10, 000 rider on our screen enclosure, and they offered us $2, 200 on $27, 000 in damages.

Many many signs south of Tampa in other communities such as Ellenton, both commercial signs and street signs, stop signs, etc are destroyed, down or pushed down at an angle. It is now 2 weeks later and its all still a mess.

The multiple tornadoes before the hurricane arrived visibly did much more damage; it was not very strong when arriving on the coast of Florida, 175 km/h at peak for a hurricane is not very strong; only the rise of the water was really problematic and I think that the recycling of the eye just before its arrival limited the damage enormously; a hello from France and courage to the people of Florida. Here in rancid we had in 1999 the storm Lothar with average sustained winds of 120 km/h and a peak of 272 km/h in Germany in the Black Forest; I who lived in the western region of Paris near Versailles I will remember it all my life, I have never known such a power of the wind, we barely managed to differentiate the gusts from the lulls so the power of the wind was incredible, even my wall of my building was cracked and practically all the trees had fallen ; The particularity of storm Lothar (
Synoptic winter storm of an explosive nature) was due to the fact that the high altitude winds were able to penetrate in places in vertical corridors of the jet stream (close to 400 km/h at 9, 000 m altitude) towards the ground, which surely caused phenomena of downbursts exceeding the average values of the winds on the ground; barely two days after another gale with less gusts of 130 km/h hit the Paris region and a part of the rest of the north of France then direct but this time if in the south of France the storm Martin appeared, a little less powerful than Lothar with a gust of 205 km/h in Mandelieu la Napoule but average wind of 100 to 150 km/ h .
