SDA President Ted Wilson WARNS About SDA Pioneers!

In his 2023 Annual Council address, SDA President and pastor Ted Wilson warns the SDA Church to be on the lookout for anti-trinitarians, after lauding Adventist pioneer J.N. Andrews who was an anti-trinitarian.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ:

They are born again of the Spirit (1 John 5:1, Titus 3:5), adopted into His family(Eph. 4:5–7), and are granted eternal resurrection life in Jesus Christ (1 John 5:11), set free to do good works that please Him (Eph. 2:10; 1 John 2:3-4). Jesus will physically return one day to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5; Acts 24:15; John 5:24-5), throwing the wicked out of His Kingdom (Matt. 13:41-3), but His people will be spared from the wrath to come (1 Thess. 1:10) to dwell in union with God forever (Rev. 21:3).

I'm a Catholic but how does the SDA church not see that they have a magisterium as well🤔. I find it very hypocritical being that they're one of the most anti-catholic churches out there. But yet they have the same structure as the Catholic Church does. Its crazy how Orthodoxy that has about 90% of the same exact teachings as Catholicism. But yet the SDA church has way more of a closer structure as a Catholic Church. 🤔 Talk about being a hypocrite...

Perfirio John You didn't quote the full text or the context . That Jesus is the Resurrection and the life has nothing to do with what day we worship on. We can make the Bible say anything we want it to . If we make it say what God hasnever said, Ezek 13 :1-8 calls usbfalse prophets who are against God . I have never seen anywhere in the Bible where God has commanded us to keep the 1st day holy . God created the years months and days and they have never changed . Daniel prophecied man would THINK to change His days and laws and people STILL believe this lie today

Chamelallen. Eschatology won't cause a " house' to be washed away. Read Matt 7:21-27. Not everyone that says Lofs, Lord will.enter heaven but only those who do the Fathers will . Jesus said that He won't recognise lawbreakers when He comes . That will.cause the house to be wasked away.

Al Missing. People in the church WERE Baptusts, Methodists etc . It doesn't they did not change as more knowledge came to them. This is just another excuse not to obey God. It is what WE believe that matters not what other people once thought that doesn't matter.

Matt Murdoch you say what had finished . If the Sabbath or the law has finished we should not be here. Matt 5:18 the law won't pass away till heaven and earth does. I have a suspicion we are still.here. Jesus did say IT IS FINISHED on the Cross referring to the sacrificial system. He was the slain Lamb and all th symbols of the sanctuary had finished
If there is another " finish" I would like to know.

One of the finest Biblical scholars that the SDA church did not disappoint. You could clearly see him pontificate, "That hole on the side of the road this morning, I passed. Was it my butt? It couldn't have been, on the other hand ...." or "Is that a Bible? No, Ellen White didn't write it, but why does it say Holy Bible?"

Now, don’t beat me up dude… you seem to be a little feisty when trying to reasoning with you on another subject.
I know your knowledgeable, but forgive me if I question or perhaps don’t believe your point of view in a particular subject…
you can’t assume what I know.. which is not much. But I believe GOD has given reasoning abilities, and a mind to check & verify any claim made by anybody and on any particular subject regarding the Bible.

So I’m going to try understand what your saying, then see if what your saying is true. No one should get irritated with someone because they want proof, facts, context… and not just going by how you present something and your views. If what you say is true then I would have to agree with you.

Let me try and see if I can do that in regards to the beef you have with 7th day Adventist about the trinity (GODHEAD). Because I’m thinking we all believe the same, but your saying no, we don’t.

My belief is that there is 1 GOD, and that 1 GOD is at the same time 3 persons (not 3 Gods), and they are known as The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.

Now trying to understand how 1 is 3 (not 3 Gods) at the same time is darn near impossible. So I’m not even going there. But is my understanding correct in your opinion Myles?

Britannica definition is,

“Trinity, in Christian doctrine, the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead.”


I agree with that. Are they correct on their definition?

Me personally, even though they have the same definition by many, I don’t use the word trinity, just because it’s not in the Bible. I like using The GODHEAD!

Are you saying the SDA church don’t believe it’s the same definition? Or they have that same definition and you think that definition is wrong?
