Thank you so much for this informative video. Just got a 2021 Traverse and wasted 5 hours before I came here and was able to program two GM vehicles to two garage door openers in 10 minutes. Instructions in the owner manual DO NOT WORK!

Thank you for the video. I was programming my buttons per the Owners Manual of my 2018 Equinox and I was going in circles getting nowhere. Your video came up when I did a search, and I learned about the reset with buttons 1 & 3. That made the difference. Why doesn't Chevy include that bit in the instructions? They should plan for this car to have more than a single owner.

Thanks again, now I can remotely open my garage with my Equinox.

Worked for me... I combined the 20 second hold of the number 1 and 3 buttons with the steps from my owners manual to get to work.

Hi, I commented prematurely when I said I did 2 cars, thinking the first would be as easy as the second. I can’t figure out how to do it for the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox. We’ve read the instructions over and over and done countless procedures and it just won’t work.

Could you possibly do a video on a 2016 equinox or know how to program it step by step?

I realize it’s supposed to be generally the same process because it’s a homelink or similar system. Help?
