Monoprice Select Mini Unboxing and First Print

Hey everyone! Today is a great day as I received my viewer funded Monoprice Select Mini 3D Printer. Because you guys are awesome and use my Amazon affilate link so much, I was able to afford this printer. Thanks guys!!

I know there are a million of these unboxing videos of the MPSM (Monoprice Select Mini) but I really wanted more practice at doing them and would love comments on how I can improve or if I am doing ok. I have this printer as well as 2 others. Print a new knob, get a sheet of glass and glue stick. Prints PLA like a champ.

first best mod, modify the z stop switch up3mm higher and throw on a piece of glass off amazon 130mmx130mm

Please remember to mention what VERSION of the printer you’re working with whenever you do one of these. Can I assume this is the v2 model? Please confirm.

Would this printer be good for exotic filaments ? I have a flash forge and it does not print pla or anything like pla very well it has cooling issues. So if not this is there a good printer that would be used for the makerbox filaments ?

the assembly of this seems much less intensive than the ft five lol. it has taken me quite a wile to get halfway through my ft 5 build.
