I have to say thank you for making this video series on the monoprice 3d printer. When I saw the title I thought you worked for monoprice :) after viewing this I placed my order. This is truly the best unboxing and product guide on any 3d printer I've seen, I like that you go in detail from a "user" point of view and not just a product "presenter". Many don't realize the time and effort that goes into making this type of videos and for that I thank you.

For future unboxing reference: if the inner box won't slide out, just cut the opposite end open. Works especially well with inner styrofoam enclosed parts. No need to cut the side/corner of the box. You're just trying to alleviate any vacuum resistance that happens when you try to remove the inner box. Handy if you need to send it back to the manufacturer for any reason and don't want to damage the boxes.

I''ve watched the whole series twice now. Great work and thank you. My 3D printing experience so far consists of watching one print for a couple minutes in a library. My MP Select Mini V2 arrives tomorrow. Do all the settings used in the first few videos apply to the Version 2? The calibrations in the 3rd party program and such. I'm not educated enough yet to know the differences between V1 and V2. I just assume newer is better.

Tyler or anyone who might know. OBJECT Started printing way over to the most right hand side of build plate?
The object looked very centered while in Cura...however, when I uploaded to Mono v2 and pressed Print the object including that small thin raft started way over on very right hand side of the build

my Y axis on the MP select is just stuttering in place, any solutions ??? it will move correctly when homing, but that's it

Tyler. I have a question for you. I purchased a Monoprice Mini from Amazon and in checking it out I selected the HOME button.The printer slid the nozzleto the left and hit the white tower. I turned off the printer and am searching on how to fix this. Is there an adjustment I can do to fix this? Do you need more information on what happened? Thanks and I like your videos.. Richard

hi im having issues on my computer getting it to recognize the printer. i got it to connect finally but doesn't respond. it does a blink8mg thing now on the printer screen

Hi, I wan to buy this printer but i don´t know if it is compatible with SolidWorks software. Will I have troubles if I print a piece designed on this software?

Can you print from your own pictures, drawings & signatures with this? Also I work with silver & bronze metal clay a company called mini maker has an attachment that states it can go onto any 3d printer and extrude clay I'm not sure how but do you think I can with this printer?

However, DANG that background music (NOISE) is IRRITATING!!! It Does nothing to add to your great information and frankly, for me, was one reason I wanted to stop listening.
If you ever remake this PLEASE DUMP THE BACKGROUND!!
