Changing race in any original story is always a bad idea, except if it's Samuel Jackson

Forcing a character of different race to a story while everything else sticks to the source. Thats a personal major problem for me.

But wholesaling everything to fit the market yet still retaining the original story? Im actly very fine with that.

Which is why im ok with hachiko n the long list of americanized japanese horror movies, but im not ok with them hiring ScarJo to play Major Kusanagi in GITS.
