Beginner Driving Lesson On Big Crossroads | Talkthrough on How To Position | How To Change Lanes

This is Rory, he's been learning to drive with me from a complete beginner. We have done 11 hours before this lesson. In his last lesson we started on small crossroads on how to turn right and how to position. knowing when to go with the traffic ahead or the traffic lights

In todays lesson we focused on major crossroads turning right across dual carriageways as this can be really tricky for new drivers.
We also worked on changing lanes and the use of mirrors, looking at a reference for knowing how to change lanes in busy traffic.
Its very important to use the interior mirror first and then the side mirrors to get a good idea to know where the other vehicles are around you.
we also worked on a big roundabout on how to turn right.

On a rounderabout if you going straight should you check your interior mirror only if you going straight ahead ?? and stopping should you check only interior mirror just before a traffic light or behind other cars ??

Hello I am a USA driver and I will be traveling to London in 2 months. I heard license rules are different there but I will be using a international drivers license so will I have restrictions from renting a manual car since I am not a British driver? Will I be allowed to rent only automatic?
