Portia Marinana, a social worker at Dora Nginza Hospital in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, loves her work. Every day, she helps make a daunting hospital stay less stressful for nervous and sometimes troubled patients. She never expected having to one day become an amateur detective to solve a case that was baffling the police. It began with an apparently innocent visit to her office by the grandparents of a 7-month-old baby and ended with the arrest of a young woman on charges of kidnapping. Thanks to a sixth sense and dedication to her craft, Portia and her “partner in solving crime” colleague Kaamiela Eagles, a little baby was reunited with his desperate mother.

Such a great story. The women who solved this puzzle are absolutely incredible. The world needs more like them. I'm so happy that the mother and baby were reunited. I do however feel for the elderly couple who really thought that the baby was their grandchild. It must've been devastating for them.

So encouraging seeing people in a Government Hospital taking their jobs seriously and being passionate about what they do!

So glad that the baby went home. What a terrible trauma his loss must have been to 2 families.

But Govan is so cold in his tone, each time he is the one leading the story I get demotivayed to watch. Ai maybe I will get used to him with time

Poor child. Glad it didn't take years which would have confused the poor child even more.
Also hope the victimized grandparents get a chance at a gradual farewell.
Losing a child, is not easy

I can't help thinking of all the babies and children in South Africa who are not found alive, but also so thankful to these ladies for being so incredible for finding this boy alive and reuniting him to his loving mother.

South Africans are generally a loving nation, our Government hospitals have amazing people, who often are hidden from the lime light
The Lord gave them the wisdom and strength to return a boy to it's right mother.
Thank you ladies for doing what you do best for children 🎉

My family is from that area and they told me that hospital is known for their lack of security, baby swapping and kidnapping of infants
I think these workers just had enough and took things into their own hands like no more! Enough is Enough

Have to give credit to the Adminstration Clerk, for doing her job.
