He was a model citizen in the farming community of Barkly East in the Eastern Cape. A God-fearing commercial farmer with a loyal circle of friends. He was wealthy, too, by all accounts and promised similar riches for some of his closest friends and several others from a lucrative investment project. It was a simple blueprint: his investors would buy cattle and sheep and he would farm them on their behalf. Leaning on their shared religious devotion, his investment base grew impressively and his scheme blossomed into a multi-million rand operation. Then, as they so often do, things turned sour and what appeared a legitimate and profitable business imploded. The investors, the majority of whom are pensioners, lost everything. Carte Blanche investigates.

In terms of the Companies Act, all directors/shareholders and members of a CC must be natural persons ad therefore I think the lawyers should consider claiming against the estate of the Trust and the CC. All the need to proof is the money flow, thus subpoena the banking records of all related entities

😢 this is so sad as I've recently been hit by the same storm as this of what Piet is doing, my heart goes out to this people and like Pastor said there are many Piets in this world of which is testimony for myself nonetheless, I opened a case and now have court case with value of R244 000 which i know i will never see a cent off however i will be greatful to see this guy behind bars. All the best to everyone who was scammed by this and our Lord Almighty will give back unto us in due time🙏
