Shortly after outgoing Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter’s explosive interview on eNCA, reports emerged of a secret intelligence dossier on which many of his damning corruption claims were based. It alleges the criminality, that has largely brought the utility to its knees, is controlled by four powerful cartels and that at least two high-ranking members of the Cabinet are involved. If true, the report is proof of corruption on an unprecedented scale that has plunged the country into darkness and threatens the unravelling of the political establishment. But why have none of those exposed in the dossier been named, let alone arrested? Carte Blanche investigates.

I no longer feel Proud to be a citizen of this beautiful country. A country with the best people and so much potential but I can no longer keep fearing for my life at 2000 in the evening at traffic lights and wondering if I could get robbed and killed. I hate what South Africa has become. An amazing land ruined by the ANC so so sad

Why are the names of these ministers not being made public?! What's the point of having all this information and not putting it out to the public. Stop being cowards, name and shame!!

These people don't care that we don't have electricity. They don't care about our country. They should go to prison for life.

Guys, its time to seriously take a stand, together. Imagine where SA would have been had it not been for Eskom and its mess.

It is so sad what they are doing to our country!! South Africa is the most beautiful place to live. We have the strongest spirits because of all the hardships we have had to face. We need to stand together now to overthrow the government and fight for our country!!

If Eskom cooperated, surely dots (involving purchase orders, tender documents, bank statements from Eskom, and company ownership records) could be connected?

South Africa should engage the security agencies of what allies we still have to investigate Eskomgate... Our security agencies are far too compromised to conduct this investigation...
