How is this the fault of consumers?
Junk auto makers need to work this out with the insurance companies. Consumers should not be penalized because car makers can't figure it out a simple anti-theft device...i.e.
i leave a Rottweiler in the car, my car isnt going anywhere.

Price of vehicle

Rates of theft



Period.


Does somebody who drives a 2004 Toyota Camry deserve to see their rates go up because some f*** with a 2022 Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, RAV4, Highlander has their s*** stolen?

yes, our courts are pathetic. auto theft should be a hanging offense but courts dont deal with organized crime for some likely corrupt reason. if 1000 serial offenders were hung, there would be little theft. every judge is to blame.

How about we drop the 'hug a thug' mentality and instead lop off the hands of these criminals? Hell, we lop off perfectly good body parts of children and young adults, so we sure as hell should be able to do it with thugs. Then the thefts will decrease and we don't need higher insurance rates.

It’s all factored in the keep the costs ever increasing, they’re all interconnected from the auto makers, insurance companies, government, bailouts etc. It will always increase until you can’t afford that type of travel but the wealthy can as it’s a non issue.
