Flags and Tasks in Outlook

I was searching high and low for this - I still don't understand "message class...contains...task" and why that eliminated the email from the TO DO bar, but hey, it worked! So that's all I need. THANK YOU AUDREY!

Audrey, Thank you so much. Short and precise, perfect! You addressed something I was concerned about but it brought up a few other things that I wondered if you could help me understand more about tasks vs flags? First, why do what you suggested? Just not to have the flags in the to-do list? I am having issues wondering if I flag an email, if I also need to do something else? If I need to add notes or instructions when I send a follw up email? I feel like I may need to set up to do's related to the email but them I end up being too duplicidous. I will say that the questions I ask are simply because I don't have a CRM that may avoid these questions so I guess, in a sense, I am trying to maybe make Outlook do what it isn't for but it seems to me it is almost there anyway and maybe is, I just don't know it is.
