"Automatic Tuning was Interrupted" Did anyone else see that error message?

It's wild that Nvidia, a trillion dollar company and graphics leader is only now getting an official tuning software after relying on third party tools like Afterburner for decades.

Here's the link for NVIDIA APP in case you want to use it

Let's not ignore the fact that Nvidia left us with the Nvidia control panel for decades. That thing is ancient.

Glad to see NVIDIA finally catching up with AMD in this aspect. Adrenaline is great and easy to use.

i been using Nvidia app since Beta and i honestly didnt know there were performance difference until now, that would explain me getting lower fps than i should T-T

This gave me artifacts all over my screen after I did the automatic overclocking and gamed for an hour, taught I fried my gpu, I don't think it's worth it or they still have bugs to iron out, I'm on a 3070 and I won't recommend anyone use this unless you got $$ to replace your gpu at anytime.

It’s still in the beta so download it if u don’t mind a couple bugs down the line until they officially come out of beta still it’s good to download it so they can work out the bugs and features quicker

Unlock the voltage settings in the afterburner settings, slide it to 100% and itll give the core a little more voltage so you can push it a little farther

Excellent stuff Fabio (and Fabio's brother!). You guys are doing stellar work lately on the channel. I am usually an AMD man for my own PC, but for my kid's PC I got a deal on an RTX 2070, so I really appreciate the Nvidia stuff too

NVIDIA’s GeForce Experience has featured automatic overclocking since June 2021, one of my primary decisions in an RTX purchase.

Opening meme was hilarious 😂, cars went 69

I was wondering if the discrepancy was caused by additional CPU usage from the Nvidia APP.
But if that were the case, Hogwart's legacy would probably be among the most affected considering it's very heavy on CPUs.
Seems like it might be GPU usage issue instead.

Afterburner way more simple for me, and still give some extra tuning inside and works both for Nvidia and AMD GPU.

VRAM overclocking is tricky, you can overclock it up to a point and then 500Mhz more and get nothing out of it in specific scenarios. Some game that heavily uses VRAM might even go backwards in performance because VRAM that is heavily used will create more errors that need to be corrected. So "100% stable" does not mean much.

I honestly still use the control panel. Im not some geek, so it has all I need: color, hertz, background and game FPS limiter

Great video Fabio. May I ask what are your manual oberclock settings for the 4080 super?

Auto overclock has been available for a few years now, they called it “performance tuning” on the old GeForce app performance overlay settings (experimental features)
This updated version looks much better though

How do you get so much OC on your memory?! Do you have a custom waterbuild? I have a Zotac 4080 oc edition and can only get +200 cc and around +350 memory clock. Even if I set all my voltage limits and everything to the highest it just hard crashes or freezes after that. Same as the 3080 I had before this card.
