You NEED the New NVIDIA App | BETTER Settings & NEW Features

NVIDIA has released their NVIDIA App in Beta. This is a replacement for NVIDIA Control Panel and GeForce Experience. It takes the best of both - and gets rid of the login requirement! As well as introducing 2 new RTX features! This is fantastic news!

The RTX HDR ‘only’ works if you have a single monitor setup, it’s on their FAQ, which is disappointing bc I run a 2 monitor setup.

I really hope they add option to lock frame in overlay menu but it should work like rivatuner for better frame pacing.

10:07 actually you have to disable "Auto-HDR" in order to use the HDR in Nvidia app.

What if the RTX HDR option is not there at all? I'm using a 4060 Ti with the latest drivers. I'm using a single monitor.

I will keep the old one, this one lacks a huge part of the settings... Every time I play a game, I use the Performance Overlay for temps and all the advanced stuff that the new app doesn't have...

I hope you can set Instant Replay to only record the game you’re playing because as it stands right now, it records all of the audio playing in you computer.

thanks for spreading the beta i had problems with shadowplay in geforce i couldnt even start the overlay i can now skip the headache with the beta app thx again you where a help even though it wasnt the main point of the vid :]

Overlay was in GeForce experience as well

The dynamic vibrance thing is incredible it makes the darker areas much darker and the colors brighter just don't over do it a little goes a long way

Is the framerate capping more akin to riva tunner now? Or is it still less stable frametime wise?
