Burnout happens in every job. As someone who did construction for 6 years before switching to Sonography. Since i switched it is waaayyy less stressful and tiring than construction. Its all perspective. Much more rewarding and no offense to anyone but much easier.

This is a great video. Whenever someone asks about how to get into this field, I will send them this video. Your videos saved my butt plenty of times when it’s comes to protocols and tips. I’m a general tech from ny and there were times when I would get a case that I’m not familiar with and use your videos as a guide. Thank you for everything that you’re doing for us.

I'm glad there are other YouTube channels that I can watch and get a good grasp of what sonography is how to become one Etc watching you is like reading chapter 1 of a book but the chapter is 200 pages long.

Wow!! This is really an excellent video on ultrasound. I was on the track to pursue nursing but before that I was really interested in ultrasound and just medical imaging in general because When I was a dental assistant I loved taking xrays & was very good at it. Now I regret not pursuing xray or ultrasound. But losing my dental assisting job was very traumatic & the 07/08 crash made me choose a career based on fear. I got my BS in sociology. Deep down I never really wanted to do nursing. It looked good on paper. But now I’m considering medical imaging I don’t know if it’s rad tech or sonography. I really wish I pursued it but was afraid because when the economy was bad new grads online were complaining they weren’t getting a job. But now i see more opportunity. I did not see musculoskeletal sonography 10 years ago.

Thank you for this video!! I am 35 currently working as a Medical Assistant and has been undecided on what to go back to school for. I am currently taking prerequisites for Sonography and am undecided on which program to go into as far as cardiovascular, general, and vascular.
