Apple no longer sells the iPod classic, iPod nano, and iPod shuffle, but we can still take a look through the iPod's full history. Beginning in 2001 with the original iPod model and ending in 2019 with the 7th generation iPod touch. So watch this video if you'd like to see ever iPod ever made!

I loved these iPods I had just had to listen to music. I got so happy every time I was going for a run or a walk or traveling by boat, bus, train, or airplane.

Nicely done mate. Your original History of iPod video was one of the videos that got me into tech when I was about 9 years old. Keep it up!

It would appear you missed the 6th and 7th generation iPod Classics.

There are a few missing from the sequence, like the 5.5 gen. Also I’m pretty sure you could get the 3rd gen in 40gb as well.

The third gen of the iPod nano was my favorite of these models. The second and fifth gen iPod touch models were my favorites from touch models. Looks like I've owned a lot of iPods. (:

The weird thing is that in the iPod’s later years it started becoming a phone

Thank you for this!! My son is 8 and had no idea what an iPod was so I started to explain it but he didn’t understand, so I’m so happy you put the history or all the iPods into one video. Super helpful! Now my son wants an iPod 😆

Still have and use my iPod mini. Of course, put in a SSD, and Rockboxed (linux) it. The unit sounds great. Very reliable. Easy to repair. To this day, I have never seen a better MP3 Player.

I owned the first-gen iPod nano in black and the second-gen nano in green (which I still have but it doesn’t work anymore). In October 2010 I got the 4th-gen iPod touch and then in April 2012 my mom bought for me a new 4th-gen iPod touch but now in white color. Last year, I bought the 7th/gen iPod touch which I use quite a lot. I’ve loved each and every iPod I ever owned.

What was the point of adding no micro sd on everything when none of them had micro sd

Aw I had the 4th Gen as my first, I remember loving it so much. The first song I put on there was 2pac - Changes and I was listening to it on loop 🤣

Mistake at 1:17
The iPod was actually called the 6th gen and was dubbed as “iPod classic”.
The storage configurations were 80, 120, and 160GB

The 5th Gen iPod also had a 80GB later in 2006.
