I pray Apple is listening to you. A new iPod classic with a great dac, headphone jack and Bluetooth, no distractions, music only. That would be a dream.

And of course the 6th reason for me!...is total offline listening of your songs No ads and total privacy. Thanks for the video, super awesome

I`ve got two IPod classics and use them just about every day. I`m not protesting or looking for nostalgia, I just love the way they work.

I just bought an iPod classic because I always wanted one but couldn’t afford it back in the day. It’s so cool.

Great video. Another reason I'd add—people don't like relying on streaming subscriptions for music, where legal battles can remove your music at any time, they can change the terms of the service or raise the price, and you have to keep paying forever or else lose your music. It's much nicer to have a local collection of CDs and/or MP3s, and iPods are perfect for listening to your own permanent, curated library.

I use mine for 60% Video, 30% Audiobooks and 10% Music. Modded to hold 1TB. Always ready to go on short notice, no worrying about what to download or stream to go with me. No draining my phone battery for all these things. Love it!

Doing things the hard way in this day and age is a choice more people will make and continue to make. Be it analog photography, listening to vinyl or riding a steel, rigid singlespeed mountainbike…it’s all about being connected to the activity.

I never put my iPod down. LOL I dislike having my music on my phone because I don't want to kill my battery on my phone listening to music.

I'm 50 now so I had the pleasure of having an Lp player, cassette Walkman, CD Walkman, then a 1g ZEN, then a 2007 80G IPOD dial no bluetooth or WIFI lol. Loved them all and still have all except the cassette walkman

I recently picked up a Sony MiniDisc Player again. They're even more basic than iPods. I love it.

Fixed my iPod classic during the Pandemic as a hobby, after I found some youtuber doing the same! I’m loving using it again! It feels so nostalgic and yet super cool.

I got an iPod Mini 2nd Gen and decked it out with a new battery, 256gb SD card, and soldered in Bluetooth. It is my new go to music device!!

No app distractions, monochrome screen doesn't show artwork so less battery drain, I have more control on what I own and play (dumped all my CDs in there as well as sold them to save space).

It just works and I am so happy I found a certain Aussie who rekindled my love for ipods❤

I ordered an mp3 player online cause I'm sick of getting ads on spotify and also because during school trips, i tend to listen to music in the bus but by the time I arrive to the destination my phone's battery basically gets halved. So I got it to prevent that as well.

I'm a late gen z, born in 2007 so most ipods are older than me. I never had an mp3 player as a kid but I had friends with strict parents who got one before they had a phone. I find mp3 players very fascinating as I've always associated playing media with smartphones or computers, you know, expensive devices. I just find it so cool that a pretty cheap device can do all of that. It's a new world for me and I like it.

I got an upgraded refurbished 5.5 gen a couple months ago to replace my iPod nano that’s battery expanded. It has a 128gb ssd with a new battery and faceplate. I didn’t realize how much I missed it, people look at me like a weirdo when they see me using it in public but I don’t care I love it :)

I'm so glad YouTube suggested this video. You've made me want to get my old iPod (identical to the one you have), mod it and get back to using it. I also feel the need to disconnect a bit. Thank you for this video!

I never stopped using my iPod Classic, I’ve had it 15-20 years and It’s got most of my music collection on it, I have it plugged into my car usb port so I’ve always got my music available when driving.
My kids tease me about it, but I love it 🙌🏻

I have one of those non Android Sony players. I think it was the last non Android model they made. No wifi, no phone calls, no notifications. Just plays music, which is all I want it for. And it does it well. Before that, I had the 2009 model Ipod Classic. That thing kept going for 13 years. Hoping I can get the same kind of mileage out of the Sony.
