As a veteran of the UK Royal Navy from Scotland, I can't imagine denigrating ANYONE who volunteered to serve their country and did so with honour. We have our friendly rivalries, sure, but to attack a veteran, a senior officer no less, and a man who served 6 times longer than Vance did, it's simply inexcusable.
