Glad the two of them were civil and respectful of each other!

This is what I would have liked to see from a Presidential Debate. No name calling, no rude remarks, just simple disagreement on policy and a bit of reaching across the aisle when it was warranted.

It was hilarious halfway through that it became a love fest between them. I could imagine Trump seething and throwing ketchup every time Vance said something nice to Walz.

I appreciated the civility but it did not escape my notice that Vance lied the entire time. He's smooth but too slick. Walz is straight up nice, tried to find common ground (even with a guy like Vance), showing he would work across the aisle. That's important. For me, the J-6 answer was a non-starter. Walz nailed him on that. Without democracy, public policy doesn't matter.

Biggest issue was at the end and Vance not saying Trump lost 2020 or agreeing to the outcome of 2024.

I believe Tim Walz was fantastic! He is exactly what I want in a leader our Vice President! A man who is ready to work in moving our Nation forward in creating a better way of life for our whole Country with Superior Intelligence, Decency and a Personality full of Honorable Integrity to deal with Foreign Policy Affairs as well!

I was hoping Walz would wipe the floor with Vance but oh well. Both sides being so nice to each other made this seem too sweet. But Vance refusing to say Trump lost 2020 was huge.

I liked the fact that Walz looked straight into the camera and actually SPOKE directly to the American people. Vote Harris/Walz 💙 💙💙💙💙!!! He's my governor, and we love him here in beautiful Minnesota. He's the real deal!!!

Did Vance answer any of the questions? He's like a used car salesman. Ask him how the car runs and he says: "What we should really be talking about is this bitchin stereo"!

Walz was smart and honest. He was believable because he was telling truths. Vance is slick and a lying snake in the grass. I worked in large companies and big job roles for over 30 years. I know the type that Vance is - stay away from that type - can lie to your face and not flinch one bit.

NBC said that Tim did not do that good??!! That Vance portrayed himself better as he is a better debater and more well spoken?? I’m not sure that I agree with that.

Vance has a horrible approval rating. He was trying to tone down his hate speak to appear as a nice guy. He danced around too many questions and refused to give straight answers.
