Retired Command Sergeant Major Joseph Eustice served 32 years in the Minnesota National Guard. He told KARE 11 Wednesday that he served with Walz and spoke with him about his retirement ahead of time. Walz told him he planned to run for office. “I don’t know anyone who said he just did it to get our of a deployment, ” Eustice said. He says he doesn’t agree with Walz politically but Walz “did his duty.” "I wouldn't vote for him, but this isn't about voting for him, this is about being honest about his service and he did his service as well as anyone did, ” Eustice said.

Once upon a time, the press would do their jobs and report this information themselves. Now JD has to do it for them…while the press castigates him and circles the wagons around their buddy Tampon Tim. Disgraceful.

The National Guard records show otherwise. Show us his discharge records, that will quickly resolve this.

As a Vet and with a child presently serving, any Vet who disparages another Vet's service, especially a Vet with a distinguished 24 year service career is disgusting and disingenuous. No self respecting truly patriotic Vet would stoop this low. What makes this worst is that Vance blatantly lied. 😡

"We can make sure that those weapons of war THAT I CARRIED IN WAR is the only place that those weapons are at." -Tim Walz

the Army taught Walz certain values. Like how to set up a snitch line to rat out your neighbors. And the Army always had tampon dispeners in the mens Latrine. And when the army flag was on display at his unit he decided to make it look like the flag of the army of Somalia
....what a career

When you claim to have seen combat but did not that makes you a liar! But par for the course for a group that cant define what a woman is.

It seems that the criticis of Walz's retirement are insinuating that it was purely motivated to avoid combat in Iraq. And, so, they focus on the timeline of events to support their claim such as the dates he announced he was running for office, when he submitted his resignation, and when his unit was notified and later sent to Iraq. However, beyond what Walz's defenders are saying about Walz's honorable years of service, there is another important thing to consider that can be used to defend Walz. And, that thing is that most good people who decide to jump into politics don't do it at the drop of a hat, but rather they have usually been thinking, investigating, and planning such a career move over a long period of time, and often after hearing friends and acquaintances encouraging him to run for office. This period of consideration may take place over years before a decision is made. His critics seem to be oblivious to what had probably been going on in Walz's private thoughts long before revealing them to the public when they are pointing to the timing of if all and how they think it looks suspicious. It is far more likely that Walz's desire and decision to enter politics had more, if not everything, to do with his retirement from the military. And when you stand back and look, Walz's entire life is about service...service to his country, service to children's growth and education, and service to his community. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything about the man that is merely always been about serving others.

The fact is he abandoned his unit and another had to take his place. Funny how hard it is to find that guy or anyone in his unit who came out and tried to tell people and the media, google, YouTube are working overtime to prevent anyone from finding them.

"Governor Walz would never insult or undermine any American's service to this country." That's exactly what he did when he lied about his service, he insulted and undermined every veteran that actually served in combat.
