“Keep it down, we’re in a church” is such a stellar subversion, amazing line

2:26 I love how Alfred looks at the other skeletons like “yep this is my spitfire of a wife isn’t she amazing!”

“You’ve been dead 15 years”
“Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn”
When I marry, eventually pass on, I’m coming back to my wife like this.

"Sweetie pie! Buttercup! Gertrude!"
"Alfred? You've been dead for 15 years."
"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!"

Always been my favorite scene in this movie. Till death do them part, their love for eachother is still strong ❤

Gotta love how Alfred's first reaction from seeing his love he missed for 15 years again at 2:25 and 2:30 is being impressed at what she still can do at her age to defend herself. You see he married her because he loved her personality and was amused/surprised to see age didn't stop her

It's heartwarming to know the kid recognized his own grandfather.

Also "There's an eye in me soup..."

"If my Grandfather Everglot could see this, he'd be turning in his grave!"
"Finis... where do you keep the spirits?"

That scene with the grandkid is so heartwarming. The scene in general is so touching. The dead can be with their loved ones again even if it’s only temporary

3:59 I LOVED Victoria in this part! I can tell she's definitely had enough of Barkis and the way she does walk out on him? Whoo! Victoria has always been my favorite character in this movie, next to Victor of course ^^

I love how after the kid recognizes his grandpa the lighting goes from a threatening green to a calm blue. It is great lighting details that add to an already great film.

These aren't mindless monsters, horrors, or demons. These are their family and friends who haven't seen them in years.

This is honestly so accurate to what would happen if the dead rose again and retained their memories. I'd be in tears hugging my old dog and my grandmother

The music in the "Frankly my dear" (3:19) scene where everyone is reuniting with their deceased loved ones is actually the theme music from Gone With The Wind. Also the pose of Alfred and Gertrude is similar to the poster of the same movie with Scarlett being held by Rhett.

3:07 my favorite part of this whole sequence, I absolutely adore how much Alfred still loves Gertrude despite being dead for 15 years

I just like how calm and collected most of them are even when they are being yelled at.

Bro the part at 3:01 when the kid said "grandpa?" I really wish the dead could visit the land of the living in real life but they would have a bright white glowing outline around them instead of skeletons because that would just be creepy and they can also touch things too
