When I first read Thrawn back in 91, I had this idea of his voice back then, but tbh Lars Mikkelsen has completely owned the character, it's perfect voice casting and performance.

I'm predicting that Sato will go into a battle with Thrawn as fleet commanders, but Thrawn will be victorious and kill Sato, thus granting Hera with a promotion to General as we know she does before Rogue One. Also if Thrawn dies, then I don't believe they should've added him into Rebels, and will be extremely disappointed with how they handled him.

Let's go over what we know.
The Rebels DO NOT score an actual victory over the Empire until the Battle of Scarif, however they do establish a base on Dantooine before they set up shop on Yavin IV.
Chopper, Hera and the Ghost all survive into the Battle of Scarif and by that point Hera is a General. However, we do not hear about the Wren Family or Kanan and Ezra after A New Hope. But, Bo-Katan and Ahsoka are confirmed to return sometime soon, so that indicates somebody has to survive to make either one's return relevant.
There is a great deal of information revealed from Thrawn's coming book discussing similar connections to his Legend Story in the form of something existing in The Unknown Regions, and the Emperor does take great efforts to establish facilities to study these Regions.
A Hammerhead Corvette is front and center at Scarif, but Commander Sato or other Non-Ghost Chief Members are not. In addition, we only see two out of the three at that Battle.
There are no A-Wings at Scarif, rather just X-Wings and Y-Wings. A-Wings were the standard fighter of choice for the Phoenix Squadron.
Wedge and Hobbie obviously have to survive. Also, Aftermath revealed he broke his leg in a crash and spent months as a gunner for an unknown Freighter and that the Empire hurt someone he cared about.
Thrawn knows who Fulcrum is, and reveals that information to the head of the ISB (KGB).
Kalani stated that he would not join the Rebels because the chances of them winning were slight, but did consider it.
Filoni has stated that he wants Rex to be the old Rebel Pathfinder with the white beard on Endor, and have hinted at somekind of reunion with Cody.
Thrawn is also seen in trailer wearing Battle Armor, both in a hangar and on a stormy environment, and has the escort of Death Troopers.
