HF Tools are the best thing that has happened to new Technicians in need of a good roller and complete set of tools to get started. Catch the sales and you can get. Five drawer and a fairly comprehensive set of tools for less than $1200… start adding air tools and you’ll get closer to $2k. Compare that to the tool truck prices for the same lifetime warranty.

The issue with ratcheting wrenches this big in my field of work is typically the only space for large bolts is either big enough for an impact or socket. If there is only room for a wrench, that room is only big enough for a regular box end. I have a 15/16 ratchet wrench, but it’s rare 1/100 times I’ll get to use it, space isn’t big enough for it.

The skipping of sizes is the single thing I hate most about tool sets from HFT. I remember buying a set of metric sockets and it skipped over 18mm. It's a pretty common size. The whole point of buying a SET is to have all the sizes you need.

People just love to show off a debt wrench like snap on when literally those tools break too. Go icon y’all. It’s top shit and will lead over all hand tool brands . Wen makes a set 7mm - 22mm for $110. Taiwan. Warranty. If you can live without 23 and 24, it's a good set. For a big fastener., ... and high torque, the ring in these wrenches is not structurally stable in the same way a socket is. The socket encapsulating the fastener on three sides. Better to run sockets. And in a pinch run a regular. combination wrench.
