When your car is about to tip over a pro will physically lean to the opposite side.

A noob will end up playing longer and enjoy the Alaskan wilderness longer.

One thing you could have added is a noob doesn't sell trailers.

Auto winch works much better when you're in cabin view instead of 3rd person. You can suggest the winchpoint much better by just looking at where you want to winch.
If you use auto winch this way you can also winch much faster without the need to stop to manually winch, thus keeping a lot of momentum and energy which would have been lost with a manual winch action.

Noob: goes downhill on asphalt in an automatic transmission.
Pro: rolls downhill with the engine turned off and in neutral gear.
Noob: Looking the map, changes the trucks, etc...
Pro: Looking the map, changes the trucks, etc... with turned off engine. Just for fuel economy. Every liter is matter!

Also, when refueling, I'd purchase a tanker trailer and park it off the side of the road on a part of the map where there isnt a place to refuel, so every time i pass by and need gas I can pull up along side and refuel my truck... like while working on the Michigan maps I put one by the warehouse at the top of the switchbacks on the Smithville Dam map...

I found that, when traveling at speed if your about to flip, face the side that the vehicle will flip onto and use quick winch, it will grab any points on the flipping side and even the smallest of bushes can give enough leverage to stop even the heaviest vehicles from flipping

Thank you so much for mentioning my channel dude, you really didn’t have to do all that for my sakes but I appreciate that you did! Loved the video 👍🏻! Even I learnt some stuff lol these weren’t just my tips, I didn’t know about the AWD thing and I remove fenders for aesthetics but even though it’s happened to me, I never thought to remove them to stop them catching stuff! I bloody will now lol! Again thank you man, I love your videos I’ve been a fan for years 👍🏻! Your mudrunner videos saved my bacon many times!

I would of added a pro gets all watch towers and open the entire map as much as possible first. And secondly gets bridges, road blocks and so forth done next. I find it helps. That way I can find all routes and supply areas.

I find though if towing a truck behind best to leave AWD on, yes it can use more fuel but when ur going through mud or snow sometimes the truck behind can actually push you which helps. Also never new about that shift key, awesome tip thanks 👍🇦🇺😀

If you have the Khan 39, put a freeway gearbox in. If you do that, when at a complete stop, start in automatic, then quickly shift to high, and then shift back. It takes you from 1st gear to 5th instantly, and you take off like a rocket

I don't use the crane for extra cargo, it greatly raises up the centre of mass making it easier to roll over in bad terrain. I will load a full-trailer and use the winch to haul it.

I wouldn't say noob vs pro more like hey here are some tips from a novice. here's the best tips I can give scout the entire map first. 2nd place fuel trailer at main crossroads for easy access also service trailers where the terrain is rough for fast repairs. 3rd take a crane truck and load the cargo you get from different locations(warehouse, service hub, factory and etc.) In the yard of the location so it shows up when you look at the map. It makes it faster to locate on a glance and you can plan pickups along the way just be sure to space them out in the yard so they don't overlap on the map view. 4th Repair all roads before starting contracts.5th cranes make the trucks top heavy and tip easy so don't leave them on unless you need them make sure you have the right gear for the job take your time enjoy the game and admire the hard work put into it with all the details and go explore every thing. 6th the long route is sometimes the best route and enjoyable unless you like to challenge yourself, however driving a huge truck and trailer through some of these trails will only lead to you wasting hours of your time before turning around or restarting the mission. (I've watched ppl go through half the game fouling everything up by rushing and then blaming the game. It's about strategy and patience)

Summary:
tap "Shift" to auto select the best gear for your speed (force up/down)
sell your old stuff
turn off AWD of towed truck to save fuel (or not to make it easier)
go for bumpers with high ground clearance
use crane to wedge a sneaky extra cargo item
dont use auto winch (who does?)
you can stack cargo high on a trainer and it will auto-pack it laterally for you.
