Azov! Thanks for the tips! New to the game, and was completely ignoring vehicles I found less-than-optimal, but getting frustrated with lack of cashflow for upgrades as they came. Your 'avoid hoarding, sell vehicles' suggestion helps a TON.

Azov.... 2yrs later and this video is still educational to a new(ish) player. Thank you 🙏🏻

as someone who’s already beat the game with all contracts completed I still love coming back to new tutorials to learn something new, thank you

Asov! Thank you for the tips. I found myself grinding the XP in the same way you mentioned already; however, I never thought to sell upgrades I wasn’t using and not hoarding trucks. So, you’ve definitely helped my cash! I’m about 30 hours into the game, and your tips will help a ton.

When you go into a new map your first order of business should be unlocking towers and finding all the trucks and upgrades, and the next thing you should do is clear all the road blocks and build all the bridges. This will make the harder quests much easier to complete

Az. If you want to remove cargo from a trailer, but don't have a crane, you can use your winch to flip the trailer over and back.

I tried other guides and they were all about exploiting mechanics to get OP trucks which would kill the progression. This guide is the best by a long shot.

Just hit level 6 and I’ve been doing everything in Michigan so far. I’ve been using the starter Chevy as my scout and the International off-road truck I unlocked at level 2 and those two trucks get everything done for me with ease so far. This game kicks ass!

You know, i just clicked out of curiosity, since i've been playing at my own pace, slowly unlocking the watchtowers then doing the bridges and fixing up the infrastructure and then done the contract missions, as you explore you find new vehicles (like the scout 800 on Michigan), since first off you should ignore the tutorial and in case you got dlcs then go to new game plus and make them buyable instead of being in your garage. that will skip the tutorial too, then go fix up the fleetstar with the utility trailer if you're playing on hard if not then just recall it, start unlocking the nearby towers with the chevvy, stock as it is should do most of them, you don't really need to upgrade your vehicles for black water besides some things here and there like the engageble AWD for the Fleetstar, that helps a TON with getting around. Once you find the Scout 800 you can just sell your old chevvy for some extra cash witch you'll spend getting a crane for that fleetstar, and once you find the GMC, recall it and take that flatbed off because the GMC is not that good and give it to the fleetstar instead, now you can sell or keep that GMC it does not really matter, it's up to you but since you got most watch towers, you should fix up the bridges and clear off the road of obstacles and you're set for black water, you finish it up and just go to the getaway point to unlock the next area. You're going to get quite a bunch of vehicles on Michigan so you shouldn't but things right off the bat so yeah enjoy!

Azov! I started playing last week and totally agree with all you said here. I did jump to other maps and used Maprunner to help get a little better big truck to hold off the frustration of the mud - but no mods or cheats. I enjoy completing the missions and clearing the roads as needed. Thanks for the tips!

Stellar video. Been playing casually for a long time and had no idea! Just sold four stock bumpers and three RWD transmissions for one of my trucks and got that logging trailer I've been grinding for. Totally changed the game for me. Azov.

Azov! Some good information here. Easy to understand and no excitable extras or silly sound effects. Thank you

Azov! This was really great advice. The game is a refreshing break from typical games that involve grinding....needed to be reminded that this was about the journey and discovery.

Nice video. well put together.

I think you should have added in the trailer section, that leaving vehicles that are discovered, or stuck on the map, might be left on the map. Recovering vehicles too much can drag the game down quickly. Leaving vehicles out on the map can help you to get yourself unstuck or give help, need more fuel, etc. This is usually a lot more useful for self-help. Then when you clear the map, you can recover everything you want, before you leave the map or region.

A good way to move in seemingly hard areas (MUD/SNOW/BOGS), is to tow another track behind you. This can help push you through slow areas that bog you down so much, it seems you can move anymore. Just turn on the truck you are towing "C" and it can help push you that little bit to get you through and on your merry way.

Azov! I played this game a lot at day1 and now I am a returning player. I would have never imagined I could sell the parts! I knew about trailers and trucks but not the parts! thank you!

Azov! Thanks for the video! I got off on a bad start by skipping to Alaska right away because of the tutorial. But I will be going back to the first map and start clearing there and go from there. Thanks for video

Good advices about money. The one thing I would add is that you should try to maximize runs as much as you can. Meaning that don't go from point A to B with a few cargos. Try to combine different mission cargos by towing an extra trailer or hooking a cargo with a crane. While the game wasn't exactly designed to do these kind of crazy tricks, it will definitely help you progressing faster and avoid a few frustrations down the line.
