As someone who has spent about 10 hours with the scout 800, can confirm I spent most of that time upside down and trying to winch myself back onto my wheels

Creating a "bond" with my vehicles is important to me, as you stated. I end up keeping a lot of the early trucks over later and better ones only because they had been with me for a long time.

The Tayga used to be good before they nerfed it. Now it is very underpowered and thirsty.

I personally found the Royal BM17 to be a brilliant truck, I avoided it for a long time because of the lack of diff-locks, but I drive it all the time now because it acts like it has LSD (Limited Slip Differential), which essential makes it an automatic diff-lock

Driving the scout feels like driving the World Trade Center and every little bump on the road is like an airplane

One thing I really love about this game (Played Spintires and Mudrunner in the past, newbie in Snowrunner) is that everyone has a reasonable different opinion on trucks and I absolutely love it. Bonding with the truck is very strange but also very true. I have most of the DLC trucks, so I have a huge advantage to start with (Mainly Tatra and Mastodon), but I absolutely love the White WS and the Fleetstar. Both are like mountain goats, they sound really good and the driving position on both is very decent (I play with Steering wheel and in first person). I know they are not the best trucks at all but so far they are doing everything I wanted from them.

I'm glad you're exploring the best and worst trucks in each class in SnowRunner! It's always helpful to know which ones to rely on and which ones to avoid. Happy trucking! 💪🚛

Azov 64131 is probably the best Offroad truck in the game, it can equip all addons while Tayga cannot. Slow but can get you anywhere. Decent fuel consumption. Tayga is quite thirsty.
Edit: Ok stop screaming at me just because the Tayga is so fast and the Azov isn't

I'm kinda surprised you didn't mention Dan 96320. I slept on it for a long while after getting it as a quest reward on Taymyr, but decided to give it a shot while looking for a powerful truck to use with a semi-trailer, and man I loved it. It's fast, capable on any terrain, has many addons, has low center of mass (very stable), and also has a decent fuel capacity. Overall very versatile truck that is also extremely pleasant to drive.

Everybody’s hating on the royal, but despite it not having diff lock it really gets around.
Another comment here says that it could have a limited slip differential which I believe. It also has a large bed for its class and as far as I can tell it has some of the most attachments in the game. As for the tippyness, I say that’s a skill issue. I’ve spent quite a few hours with it now and I rarely tip it over, often I do have to take a bit of a weird line to avoid sideways inclines. Also it’s FAST

You get the Fleetstar F2070A heavy duty truck free at your first garage which is great for just starting out. If you want to save money for something else. I've used it to get just about anywhere on the map.

I can tell you aren't a nativ english speaker but you are doing a great job so keep at it and good luck

To me, 605r, Derry Special and 5600TS are the legendary trio.
Aside from that, generally speaking: 605r, DS, Twinsteers, Kolobs, 745C, Tatarin & F750 is all you need for the entire game.
Stick to those above mentioned vehicles and you can beat every single thing in the game with little effort. Just make sure the said vehicle is fully upgraded and enjoy the ride.

I'm pretty much in agreement with most of it. I would prefer the Tayga B just because of the crane, but that's not much to worry about. Everything else seems to be about right, but you could find a use for any truck, you just gotta be creative :)
Paladwyn
Scout and Fleetstar are really good vehicles, for me Fleetstar is among the best heavy duty trucks.
pilot_xoan
the Bm17 is also very good for drag races having a really good accelleration and best top speed in the game

The only use the forklift has I could find was to clear rocks off the road after clearing rock slides works great for it 😂
MasterBlaster
Highway - Yeah sure I can agree to that. It should be noted though the MH9500 AWD is locked behind DLC, you need to find it in the Season 1 Kola region. So that could make the 57X better for those who don't have that DLC.
Heavy Duty - I'd vote for the White Western being the best myself. I've never had any issue with the CT681, I think having the dead axle in the lifted position has actually stopped me from bottoming out from time to time. But I use it for short logs exclusively and always have paired with the 49X (my other short log truck). I don't know if the White can do the triple combo, I've never cared for the triple combo and only have cranes on a handful of trucks. So all my trucks can tow trailers because most don't have cranes. Kodiak I agree is fair for worst in class.
Heavy - I agree Zikz 605R is one of the best in the game all around. That said if you got a 8-slot trailer needing to be moved, the best choice is a KOLOB with the Season... I think it 2 active suspension. While there are a few high saddles that sit taller then the KOLOB, the KOLOB has both good height AND the necessary girth/mass to be able to force that trailer though places. I've gotten 8-Slots places with the Cabover KOLOB that I promise you aren't getting with the 605R. But outside that specific use, yeah the 605 is better. As for worst, well yeah it has to be the 770G, no argument there.
Offroad - I knew Tayga would be the pick. It's not a bad truck, I use it sometimes but I've always found that truck very overrated. Personally I like the Voron's more. While most go for the Grad, the Voron-D actually became a favourite of mine. Objectively however one of the Azov's are the best, both the 8X8 and 10X10 outshine the Tayga or any 6X6 by quite a margin, they are just objectively better more capable trucks with good size fuel tanks while being very efficient. Royal is fair for the worst.
Scouts - Someone else spreading lies about the CAT TH I see. It's true cranes are better for lifting, but go to the garage and take the boom off the CAT, it becomes an extremely capable scout. I even scouted out large amounts of Kola and Amur with the CAT, it's crazy cable in mud as well as very fuel efficient, it may only have a 110L tank but said 110L will allow the CAT to cover a bloody lot of ground. I wouldn't say it's the best scout, as long as you avoid high centering on the rocks the Tatarin is indeed better. But the CAT is very overlooked and underappreciated for just how good of a scout it is. It's certainly not the worst. The Scout 800 is indeed bad for tipping. I can't believe people actually compare it to the Chevy CK1500, the CK is one of the best small 4X4 scouts in the game, maybe the Gor and Marshall with their special tires beats it, otherwise CK destroys every other small 4X4 in the game. Scout 800 has no right being compared to the Chevy.
I don't agree with all your choices, but overall solid list dude.

As an all rounder the ZiKZ 612H is probably the best for me at the moment. It has all the attachments you can think about (you can add a crane and a 2x bed which you cant do with 605) has a 500L tank and roof rack with additional repair kits and more fuel. The only downside is the speed and the long nose but if I had to choose 1 truck that does it all this is it.
alexb
I use the scout 800 regularly. It is so light it goes over all mud and snow. I just have the winch with its own power to pull myself up after it tips over. And it’s roof rack is huge
